New Trip

Over the past few years, Tony and I been fortunate enough to travel overseas with students to wonderful and historic places like Paris, France; Rome, Italy; Vienna, Austria; Munich, Germany; Istanbul, Turkey; Athens, Greece; and Shanghai, China.  We have enjoyed all of those trips -- even China, despite my fall into the toilet and subsequent broken leg and flight home for surgery!

This year we are visiting a place I have never been.  I have been lucky enough to visit many places in Europe -- Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Austria, Turkey, etc., but I have never been to London, so I am very excited about this trip.  Among the sights we plan to visit are the Tower of London (the Tudor fan in me really digs this!), Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Stonehenge, Salisbury, St. Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben and many other sights.  We plan to see Spamalot in the West End, and we hope to take a rock and roll tour of the city.  We have some walking tours planned, and will post many photos for those of you who follow us on Facebook.

Ella and Caroline will be back at the house, and if you know either of them, you know they are NOT to be messed with!
